Dusk

Hi all, I am back.

This was taken from my home and is typical of our evenings in summer (when we get one)I often sit out there watching the sunset.

87 Entrance

This is the Entrance to the Oxford Botanic Garden. I have left Barb (my OH) in shot  for a  sense of scale. I spent a good day in here and only saw a third, so I will go back.

BTW This will be my last post for a few days as we are going away to Kent. Should be back Tuesday.

300 Textured

I thought maybe the filigree of this stonework on Canterbury Cathedral would show an unusual textured substance.

Getting in while I can.

This was taken about 10 minutes before a thunderstorm. First time I have run for several years.

129 Glass

Hi All.

Thanks to help from Julie, I am back.

This photo is of a modern stained glass window. I have always had a love for this form of ‘glazing’ and so much can be read into it. This glazing replaced a 19C stained window destroyed by vandals. It was decided to have a modern design to reflect the changing Church.

166 Laundry

Once again, a blast from the past, this could have been my nan’s. In fact it is in the Museum Of East Anglian life.

How much we have progressed?

I can remember the smell of the washing in the copper and the neighbours popping in and out.

60 Costume

Don’t laugh please!

Couldn’t think of any other costume. I had to wear this on several occasions for WORK orientated reasons. This was taken just before I went to The Houses of Parliament for an award dinner.

Two hours before this photo was taken I was in boots and jeans cleaning out a drain.

I noticed the other guests gave me a wide berth, or was that just me…?
