87 Entrance

This is the Entrance to the Oxford Botanic Garden. I have left Barb (my OH) in shot  for a  sense of scale. I spent a good day in here and only saw a third, so I will go back.

BTW This will be my last post for a few days as we are going away to Kent. Should be back Tuesday.

Great Gate, I think though that Barb will give you a thick ear for say she is large (Brave Howie – I knew him Horatio a man of infinite jest) Been nice knowing you!.

This has always been a seat of learning and I think they (the Victorians) set out to show the majesty of Empire and also to awe the hoi polloi with their knowledge and therefore the right to rule us plebs.

Sort of sets the tone before entering into the gardens, hope you got lots of good shots in there.

Yes I did, at the time I only had a point and shoot, but it took better photo’s than I take today with my d-slr. I guess it has to many buttons.
