Hi all, I am back.
This was taken from my home and is typical of our evenings in summer (when we get one)

This is the Entrance to the Oxford Botanic Garden. I have left Barb (my OH) in shot for a sense of scale. I spent a good day in here and only saw a third, so I will go back.
BTW This will be my last post for a few days as we are going away to Kent. Should be back Tuesday.

I thought maybe the filigree of this stonework on Canterbury Cathedral would show an unusual textured substance.
Getting in while I can.
This was taken about 10 minutes before a thunderstorm. First time I have run for several years.
Hi All.
Thanks to help from Julie, I am back.
This photo is of a modern stained glass window. I have always had a love for this form of ‘glazing’ and so much can be read into it. This glazing replaced a 19C stained window destroyed by vandals. It was decided to have a modern design to reflect the changing Church.
Once again, a blast from the past, this could have been my nan’s. In fact it is in the Museum Of East Anglian life.
How much we have progressed?
I can remember the smell of the washing in the copper and the neighbours popping in and out.
